Ben has a passion for leadership, faith, and helping people discover purpose both on and off the field.

Ben is a former Major League Baseball player, speaker, entrepreneur, and nonprofit founder whose career has been defined by excellence, leadership, and resilience. Over the course of his accomplished MLB career, Ben played for multiple organizations including the Chicago Cubs, Kansas City Royals, Oakland Athletics and Tampa Bay Rays, earning recognition as one of baseball’s most versatile and respected players.


During his playing career, Ben was a key contributor to multiple championship teams and became widely known for his leadership, professionalism, and ability to perform in high-pressure moments. Following his retirement from professional baseball, Ben has continued to invest his time and influence into leadership, philanthropy, public speaking, and business ventures focused on creating meaningful impact.


Ben currently serves as an ambassador for the Chicago Cubs while also leading several entrepreneurial and nonprofit initiatives. He is the owner of Trinity View Farm, a wedding and event venue located in Franklin, Tennessee, and is the founder of Champion Forward, a nonprofit organization that helps athletes, parents, and coaches experience sports in a mentally and emotionally healthy way. 

 

Ben is passionate about encouraging others to lead with authenticity, purpose, and character. His experiences in professional sports, business, and nonprofit leadership provide a unique perspective on teamwork, resilience, culture, faith, and personal development. He is especially passionate about supporting the mental health and well-being of athletes, particularly high school students navigating the pressures and expectations that often come with competition and performance.


Ben resides in Franklin, Tennessee with his three children.
